News and commentary about the reigning royal houses of the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Spain, Monaco -- and the former European monarchies as well.
At first I was surprised that the godparents won't be made public, but I suppose they are following in the footsteps of Peter and Zara Phillips- I don't think they publicized any details of their children's baptisms. Harry's position is different, of course.
My support for them is eroding. It's fine to change things, but keeping the names of the godparents private is a low blow. It seems like they are trying to hide something.

the announcement makes it clear that it is the wish of the godparents. We do not know the godparents of Zara and Peter's kids
How this is a low blow baffles me. I’m sure we will see lovely pictures soon enough.
But Harry is the son of a future king... Zara and Peter are not...
