Bolshevik official denies Nicholas is dead

In a dispatch from Amsterdam, the New York Times reports that the "rumors that the former Emperor Nicholas II has been murdered" are false.  The President of the Executive Committee at Ekaterinburg states, in a message dated June 24, that the claims are "lies designed to incite the public.:

The message was sent by telegraph from Moscow by way to Berlin to Amsterdam.
