| Prince Georg Wilhelm of Hanover (and Cumberland) was the eldest son of of Prince Ernst August, Duke of Cumberland and his wife, Princess Thyra of Denmark. He was a first cousin of King George V. Georg Wilhelm was driving to the funeral of his uncle, King Frederik VIII of Denmark, when he was killed in an auto accident on May 20, 1912 at Nackel in Brandenburg, Prussia. He was 31 years and unmarried. |
