Prince Alfonso of Hohenlohe-Langenburg has agreed to withdraw adultery charges against his wife, Princess Virginia (Ira) of Fürstenberg, in a "surprise settlement before a Mexico City criminal courts judge.
According to a United Press International dispatch, the couple agreed to "continue divorce proceedings on mutual consent grounds. Princess Ira agreed to give her husband custody of their two young sons for an "initial period of two months," with custody to "alternate every six months after that.
Princess Ira was was only 15-years-old when she married Prince Alfonso. Their marriage made the cover of Life Magazine.
