Former Empress Zita of Austria is said to be "seriously ill at Le Quieto," reports the New York Times. She has not "fully recovered" from a bout of pneumonia last month, and her health is " causing her attendants and friends grave anxiety.
It is also understood that the "successor States" have reached an agreement on the "indemnity to be given to the Imperial family," and the Council of Ambassadors will be giving a decision in the next weeks.
Zita's husband, the late Emperor Karl "died as the result of poverty."
