Prince Luis Ferdinand of Bourbon-Orleans was discovered yesterday at Algarve,near the Portuguese border, "disguised as a Spanish woman, the Associated Press reports.
Luis Ferdinand has been living in Lisbon "since his expulsion from France. He has been under "police surveillance on suspicion of being implicated in the smuggling of cocaine." The police found "allegedly smuggled goods" in the prince's possession, but no drugs "were among them."
The Prince, who is the younger son of Infanta Eulalia of Spain, has sent a telegram to the Queen of Spain, "protesting against the search."
