the Burial of the Duke of Aosta

HRH the late Prince Amedeo, Duke of Aosta, was buried today in the Royal Crypt of the Basilica of Superga in Turin.  His parents, HRH Prince Aimone, Duke of Aosta, and HRH Princess Irene, Duchess of Aosta (nee Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark) are also interred in the crypt.


The Duke died on June 1 after suffering a heart attack. He was 77 years old.

Which crown can be seen at the feet of the coffin ?
The ducal crown of Aosta ?
Did the Aostas retain their regalia after WW2 ?
I thought they came out of the conflict penniless and would not expect that they would have kept such a crown.
May be it was lent by the Republic or some Museum...
Would like to know more about it
