15 years ago today, I started Royal Musings. Today I retire as an academic librarian. This will allow me more time to devote to writing and blogging.

I was so delighted to read Jimmy Robertson's article about you and your career as a librarian at Virginia Tech, Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center. I have so much respect for the libraries and staff found at places of higher learning. So many resources are available for research, how I would use the Interlibrary Loan request available to me as a student! As an alum I still have some library benefits, but not like before. I sometimes think I will enroll as a student just to have full library privileges!

Happy anniversary! Your blog is the first thing I check when I connect in the morning! It is a real delight, you do a magnificent job. Thanks to you I have learned so much and now I have tickets for Buckingham palace to see the Coronation display as well :). Happy retirement and looking forward to your wonderful articles.
