Lady Louise Mountbatten and Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf of Sweden were married on November 3, 1923, in the Chapel Royal in St. James's Palace.

The bride was the second of four children of the late Prince Louis of Battenberg, later the 1st Marquess of Milford Haven and his wife, Princess Victoria of Hesse and by Rhine, a granddaughter of Queen Victoria.   Four bridesmaids, Princesses Margarita, Theodora, Cecile, and Sophie of Greece attended her.   Another niece and nephew, Lady Tatiana Mountbatten and the Earl of Medina carried her train.

The current issue of Royalty Digest Quarterly features an article I wrote about the wedding of Lady Louise and Crown Prince Gustaf Adolf.

Royalty Digest is an excellent royal magazine.  It's worth a subscription.

Gustaf VI Adolf was very lucky to have two happy marriages. Not many royals can say that, that's for sure.

Her daughter was stillborn.
Poor Louise.

It is said that one of the trainers was Lady Tatiana Mountbatten.

Lady Tatiana was mentally handicapped.

At the time these families tended to hide their problematic children - just think of poor prince Johnnie.

Is it confirmed that Lady Tatiana attended the wedding and had such proeminent role ?

Best regards
José

Jose, you should subscribe to Royalty Digest. A trainer is someone who trains someone to do a job, for example. A trainer is a British word for sneaker. I have no idea what a trainer does in a wedding. For the record, Prince John was never hidden. You should take time to research before you spout nonsense. John appeared in many family photos. He attended family events which can be found if you search the Court Circular. You will find numerous references to John with his family, in London, at Sandringham, Scotland, attending his parties with his siblings https://royalmusingsblogspotcom.blogspot.com/2019/01/prince-john-1905-1919.html The news coverage of Lady Louise's wedding includes references to Lady Tatiana She and her brother carried Louise's train. She is in the official photographs. She was in the wedding party. It was not until later in life that she was institutionalized.
