The newly married Crown Prince Leopold and Crown Princess Astrid are now "somewhere in France on their honeymoon trip," reports the Associated Press.
The prince and princess are expected to drive to the Riviera. They slipped away from their home in Brussels, and Prince Leopold drove the motor car for the first few hours
They are not expected back in Brussels until Christmas. Princess Astrid will .celebrate her 21st birthday on November 17.
The Swedish-born Princess Astrid has already made an impression on the Belgian people. Fully half of the Belgian babies born since the wedding have been given the name Astrid, which means beloved.
