The engagement of Princess Maria of Savoy, the youngest daughter of King Vittorio Emanuele and Queen Elena, to Archduke Otto of Austria is "regarded as certain in well-informed court circles," reports the New York Times.
It is believed that the engagement has already been "concluded," with the official announcement to come in the next few days.
The official announcement could coincide with the visit to Rome by the Hungarian Regent Nicholas Horthy.
