Countess Sylvia von Pückler was born on May 16, 1930, the daughter of Sylvius Count von Pückler and Alice von Richtofen. She married Christian, the Prince of Bentheim und Steinfurt in 1950. They were the parents of two adopted daughters, Caroline and Alexia.
