As Viscount Linley (the courtesy title for the heir apparent to the earldom), David married the Hon. Serena Stanhope on October 8, 1993 at St. Margaret's Westminster. She is the daughter of Charles Stanhope, the 12th Earl of Harrington (who was Viscount Petersham at the time of his daughter's wedding) and his first wife, Virginia Freeman-Jackson.

Lord and Lady Snowdon have two children: Charles Patrick Inigo Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley (July 1, 1999) and Lady Margarita Elizabeth Rose Alleyne Armstrong-Jones (May 14, 2002) /
Lord Snowdon's interview with Vanity Fair in 2017 gave a big clue (at least to me) that the couple were living apart.

I think it is a shame they couldn't wait until the Queen died. She must be upset by the divorces in her family.
Bill, the queen is 93. At this stage, she probably understands that love seldom lasts a lifetime and that divorce is part of most people's lives.

Divorce is a wonderful thing to make your life pleasant, especially if you are in a relationship that frankly kills all joy in your life.
Divorce is better then self destruction of your spirit just for the sake of image or others opinions.
Lets hope that's the end of divorces for the House of Windsor for this decade. An Australian magazine have been announcing constantly the divorce of Harry and Meghs.. but hopefully they last the distance.
When children are involved you are never truly "divorced", but you get your freedom back, if you are my lucky!
Malta genealogy the decade has only began (unless you count 2020 as the last year of the decade?) other divorces can only be expected. And I'm not referring to Harry and Meghan, whom I wish every happiness.
