| Hereditary Prince Hermann (1899-1941) and Prince Dietrich (1901-1976) were the sons of Princess Pauline of Württemberg (1877-1965) and Friedrich, Prince of Wied (1872-1945.) Hermann was killed in action and his eldest son Friedrich Wilhelm (1931-2000) became the heir. Hermann's great-grandson, Maximilian (1999) is the current head of the Wied family. |
