Grand Duke Alexis to wed French princess

Emperor Alexander III of Russia has given his permission for his younger brother, Grand Duke Alexis, to marry Princess Helene of Orléans, the daughter of the Count of Paris, according to a dispatch from St. Petersburg to the Chicago Daily Tribune.
Grand Duke Alexis Alexandrovitch is the fourth son of the late Alexander II and Empress Marie Alexandrovna. He was born January 14, 1850.
Princess Helene is the third of eight children of the Count and Countess of Paris. She was born at Twickenham on June 13, 1871.
