Despite a Department of Justice "get out order," Princess Stephanie zu Hohenlohe may find way to stay in the United States. Ben Fenton, a Los Angeles attorney, who represents four London lawyers who sued the Princess last December for $6255.93 in fees "assertedly due for representing her in an unsuspected suit" against the late Lord Rothemere "to collect money she declared coming to her for a futile British-German peace overtures," reports the Los Angeles Times.
Princess Stephanie was "found ill in a Palo Alto apartment," and did not leave the United States, despite the immigration order. She has since asserted "British allegiance" and has been unable to obtain a visa "to leave for any foreign country." She will probably seek permission to stay in the United States "and face the suit for fees," according to Fenton, after talking with her the princess' own lawyers.
