Belgrade, 25 October 2026 – HRH Crown Prince Alexander extended his congratulations this evening to the representatives of the "Student List" on their victory in the parliamentary elections in Serbia.
"I send my sincere congratulations to the representatives of the 'Student List' on their convincing victory in the elections for the Republic Parliament. This result, achieved in an atmosphere akin to a referendum, is commendable and places a special obligation upon those who secured it, as an exceptional number of citizens have expressed their views and placed their trust in your program and vision.
At the same time, I commend all the citizens of Serbia for their impressive voter turnout, which shows they recognize the importance of the democratic process and have made their will known. As the old Latin adage goes: *Vox populi, vox Dei* — 'The voice of the people is the voice of God.'
The victors face a significant task and a great responsibility: to celebrate their win with dignity and take on leadership of the country during one of the most challenging periods for Europe and the world. I wish them the best of luck and success, for our people and our homeland are in need of peace, unity, stability, and progress," stated the Crown Prince.
