Carrie Egerton and her husband were on their honeymoon in Nice when they decided to visit Monaco on October 10.
Carrie wrote: "We were coming out of the Monte Carlo Casino that evening when we realized the arrivals were happening for an awards ceremony for the Fondation Prince Pierre De Monaco. We decided to hang outside for a few minutes to see if anyone we recognized showed up and within a few moments a police escort pulled up and H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover exited a car along with Charlotte Casiraghi. A respectful silence fell over the crowd in the square outside the casino as they took a few pictures and entered the building."
From the Foundation's website: "The Prince Pierre Foundation was established on February 17th, 1966, by HSH Prince Rainier III, in homage to the memory of his father, Prince Pierre, a great patron of literature and the arts.
Today Chaired by HRH Princess of Hanover, the Foundation aims to promote contemporary art. Each year, HSH The Sovereign Prince presents prizes on the proposal of three councils, literary, musical, and artistic, composed of internationally renowned figures."
