15 years ago today, I started Royal Musings. Today I retire as an academic librarian. This will allow me more time to devote to writing and blogging.
Thank you to all my wonderful followers (and those who stumble here as well)
Happy anniversary to my readers.
Enjoy your "retirement "--it's very clear that you are retiring from the rat race, not from life!
ReplyDeleteHearty congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI hope you really enjoy your retirement, manage to get in lots of travelling ( & telling us all about them). I have your two books on QV's descendants, how about a third to bring us up to date?
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy your posts - happy retirment
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your Blog.
ReplyDeleteGreetings to Harper and Fleur.
Andrea
What a nice article, and your so modest about your achievements. Wishing you a happy retirement from your employment!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your retirement. I look forward to reading your blog for many more years. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and interest in all things royal.
ReplyDeleteHappy 15th Royal Musings Anniversary and Happy Retirement from WAAC!
ReplyDeleteI was so delighted to read Jimmy Robertson's article about you and your career as a librarian at Virginia Tech, Washington-Alexandria Architecture Center. I have so much respect for the libraries and staff found at places of higher learning. So many resources are available for research, how I would use the Interlibrary Loan request available to me as a student! As an alum I still have some library benefits, but not like before. I sometimes think I will enroll as a student just to have full library privileges!
All the best to you, Marlene!
Congratulations on this milestone, dear Marlene. As always, I look forward to read your posts, articles... and books!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your retirement and Happy Anniversary! Thank you for all your excellent work!
ReplyDeleteWishing you the happiest of times ahead, please keep us updated, looking forward hearing about your time again in GB in September. I have enjoyed your blog so much, deep diving into your archive, again thanks, and happy retirement.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Enjoy your retirement and keep blogging!
