HRH Carl Duke of Württemberg (1936-2022)

 HRH The Duke of Württemberg died today in a hospital in Ravensburg.  He was 85 years old.

Duke Carl is succeeded by his grandson, Duke Wilhelm, who became the heir after the death of Carl’s eldest son, Duke Friedrich in 2018.

Carl is survived by his wife, Diane, a Princess of Orleans by birth and their 5 surviving children, Mathilde,   Eberhard, Philipp, Michael and Fleur and sixteen grandchildren,
