No Church wedding for Princess Stephanie

Princess Stephanie of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and her husband, Jan Stahl have canceled their plans for a church wedding.

The couple were married in July 2018 at Schloss Friedenstein in Gotha.   It was announced at that time that the couple's religious wedding would take place in July 2019 at the Moritzkirche in Coburg, which a reception to follow at Schloss Ehrenburg.

The Polterabend, a pre-wedding dinner and torch dance, was scheduled to take place at Coburg's Güterbahnhof, the former freight yard now facility for wedding and other events.

A carriage ride through Coburg was also on the agenda.  The Neue Press, Coburg's local newspaper, was unable to read the princess and her husband for comment.
