Wrong, Andrew. In Law, only the sovereign and peers of the realm are not commoners. Princes who have no peerages are legally commoners. Period. The status of a prince is not defined by law, but by letters Patent.

Juan. HRH does not confer legal status. It is a style. English law defines commoners as everyone who is not the sovereign or a peer of the realm. That includes princes and princesses. Their status is not defined in law.
