Young Michael doing better
Crown Prince Michael of Romania is showing improvement today from "the attack of diphtheria," which struck him suddenly last week, reports the Associated Press.
The 9-year-old Prince's doctors state that he continues to "maintain the slight improvement in his condition." He is said to be out of danger.
This morning, King Carol II has left for a tour of the provinces. Michael's mother, Princess Helen, continues to maintain a vigil at his bedside.
