| In October 1924, Princess Anna of Saxony, daughter of King Friedrich August III and Archduchess Luisa of Austria, married Archduke Josef Franz of Austria, son of Archduke Josef August and Princess Auguste of Bavaria. This image is from late 1928 early 1929, and shows the Archducal couple with their first three children: Archduchess Margarethe (1925-1979), Archduchess Helena (1927-2011) and Archduchess Anna (1928-1934). The couple would have five more children. |
