Princess Marie Louise of Baden

Stunning tiara, pearl choker and a diamond necklace - for Princess Marie Louise, the wife of Prince Max of Baden.

Princess Marie Louise (1879-1948) was the eldest daughter of  Prince Ernst August of Hanover, Duke of Cumberland, and Princess Thyra of Denmark.  She was a British princess by birth - and a first cousin of King George V, King Christian X of Denmark, Emperor Nicholas II of Russia and King Constantine I of the Hellenes.

She was married in 1900 to Prince Max of Baden (1867-1929), who became head of the house of Baden in 1928,  They had two children: Marie Alexandra (1902-1944) and Berthold (1906-1963.)
