Hereditary Prince Alexander von Isenburg engaged

On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Isenburg announced the engagement of their eldest son, Hereditary Prince Alexander, to Dr. Sarah Lorenz, a plastic surgeon, who has a practice in Munich.  The bride-to-be is 33 years old.

The civil wedding will take place in Birstein in June, followed by a religious wedding in July.

The Hereditary Prince is the eldest of five children of Franz Alexander Prince of Isenburg and Countess Christine von Sarma.  He was born on June 16, 1969, and runs the family businesses.  He has three sisters, Katharina (wife of Archduke Martin of Austria), Isabelle (Princess of Wied) and Sophie (Princess of Prussia), and a younger brother, Prince Viktor.

Dr. Lorenz is a member of the Founding Team of Women For Women, an organization of plastic surgeons who donate their time and skills to help victims of war and abuse.
