Queen Elizabeth II, who is at Luton Hoo for the weekend with Sir Harold and Lady Zia Wernher, has sent a private message "of heartfelt and sincere sympathy" to Mrs. Kennedy following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The Queen also sent a message to President Johnson, saying she was "shocked and horrified" by the news of President Kennedy's death.
