This image of then Princess Kira of Russia, younger daughter of Grand Duke Kirill and Grand Duchess Victoria, was probably taken about 1912-1913. The young Kira (who married Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia in 1938) looked rather serious as she faced the camera for a portrait.
The second image shows Kira's older sister, Maria, in a similar pose. It is likely that these images were taken at the same time.

I think Maria really looks like her mother, especially her eyes.
