The Gloucesters move into York House

York House, in St. James's Palace, unoccupied since King Edward VIII's abdication, became the residence today of the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, according to an Associated Press report.

The Duke, who is married in 1935 to Lady Alice Montagu-Douglass-Scott, is third in line to the throne after Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret.  He will host "an important dinner" for visiting royals on the eve of the Coronation next May 12.
