Princess Benedikte of Denmark and Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg today announced that their daughter, Princess Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, will marry Mr. Alexander Johannsmann on June 18, 2011 at the Evangelical Church in Bad Berleburg.
The couple were married in a civil ceremony in May 2010.
The Princess is an accomplished equestrienne is dressage. She was the Danish champion in dressage in 2002 and 2009. In 2008. she was a member of Denmark's dressage team that won the bronze medal. Alexander Johannsmann works for his uncle's firm that specializes in horse transportation. His father competed for many years in horse jumping.
The couple are the parents of a son, Konstantin, who was born on July 24, 2010.
