Hereditary Prince Christian zu Fürstenberg ties the knot
Hereditary Prince Christian zu Fürstenberg, 32, married his 28-year-old fiancee Jeanette Catherine Griesel in a cheerful and friendly informal civil ceremony in the garden of his family home, Schloss Donaueschingen.
More than two hundred invited guests attended the ceremony, which was performed by the mayor. The guests included the groom's parents, the Prince and Princess of Fürstenberg, and his younger brother, Prince Antonius.
The newlyweds took a carriage ride through the town, and were cheered by onlookers.
They will be married in a Roman Catholic service in Rome on September 25 in the presence of family and friends.
