Prince Radu wins libel battle against Royalty magazine

It is about time. The original report in Royalty magazine was absolutely scurrilous and inaccurate. Unfortunately, the magazine's editors preferred to cozy up to Paul Lambrino.

Here is a story in today's Daily Telegraph about the final outcome.

I have a copy of the alleged forged document, which was sent to me by King Michael. He obtained the original from the Prince of Hohenzollern.

"It is quite clear that somebody is attempting to mislead the court and, until the matter
is finally resolved, no doubt with the assistance of experts, it is inappropriate to mount
a plea of fraud based on such a document. Indeed, as and when this issue is finally
resolved, it may well be that there will be a more fundamental application based on
abuse of process. It could be that there has been an attempt to pervert the course of
justice but, if so, the relevant culprit is probably outside the jurisdiction."

That was from the last Court hearing. What a shame that it never went to full trial so we could have found out the truth.

Where did you get your copy and what is your opinion of it.

Yesterday someone closely connected to all this wondered whether Marco Houston has actually been caught out here. He is now effectively bankrupted and it seems that someone was encouraging him to write the offending article for maybe their own ends.

There will be a good article in mail on Sunday this week.

Wikipedia is a piece of crap, Anyone can write an entry without a staff of researchers to fact check the material. Moreover, the Urkunde (the name of the document) never mentions the word Titel (title). The Prince of Hohenzollern cannot give titles, and lost that right after the establishment of the German Empire. King Michael sent me the document. He asked the Prince (as head of the house of Hohenzollern) to create Radu a prince. However, the assumption of this was to allow Radu to be titled a prince. I believe the Urkunde to be legitimate as it came to me directly from the King. Moreover, it is obvious by the number of articles in Royalty, that Marco (and perhaps his father), were perusaded of another view of the Romanian succession. However, as I have no idea who you are, I have no intention of providing further information.

Well, the Mail and the Mail on Sunday are two newspapers that are not known for their veracity or accuracy. I am always finding mistakes in their articles. Radu was right to sue.

Solicitor for the Defendants (Guy Davis)
My Lord, I confirm what my friend has said. The Defendants withdraw the allegations in
question and offer their sincere apologies to the Claimant for the damage these
allegations have caused. The Defendants would like to state that they had no
knowledge of or part in the creation of falsified documentation used in the course of the
litigation.

Interesting that Marco Houston's solicitors acknowledge there were dodgy docs!
