A Princely engagement

 

@HSH Hereditary Prince of Oettingen-Oettingen-Oettingen-Wallerstein

Proud Papa HSH Hereditary Prince Carl Eugen zu Oettingen-Oettingen u. Oettingen-Wallerstein announced the engagement of his elder son, HSH Prince Johannes Carl Moritz Alexander Rudolf Notger Maria, to Luisa Marie Textor.   He made the announcement on his Instragram account.

Johannes popped the question in Kyoto, Japan, where he and Luisa were attending the wedding celebrations of his uncle, HSH Prince Peter of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Say, and Yurina Hattori-Roche.

The future princess is the daughter of Hans-Jochen Textor and Miriam Hepner, both of whom are medical doctors.

Luisa, 25, is an analyst with HV Capital in Munich.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and a Master's in Management from the London Business School.

Prince Johannes, 27, also did his undergraduate degree at the University of St. Gallen.  His master's is in International Politics and Economics from Università Bocconi in Milan. He is an Associate with 42Cap in Munich.  $2Cap is a Venture Capital and Private Equity Fund.

He is the younger of two children from his father's first marriage to HSH Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Sayn. They were married in 1994 at Schloss Bendorf.  This marriage was dissolved by divorce in 2002 and annulled in 2006.   

Johannes and his older sister, Princess Helena, were raised in Bolgheri, Tuscany, with his mother and her second husband, Count Stefano Hunyady u Kéthely, and their two children, Countess Elisabetta and Count Lászlo.  He also has a half-brother, Prince Eugen, from his father's second marriage to Antje Hermann
