The engagement between Lord Hugh Carnegie and Miss Catherine Morgan was announced in today's Times.
Lord Hugh Alexander Carnegie and the third and youngest son of David Charles Carnegie, 4th Duke of Fife, and Caroline Anne Bunting. He was born on June 10, 1993 in Dundee, Scotland.
Catherine Claudia A. Morgan's birth was registered in Malvern, Hereford & Worcester in July 1993. She is the daughter of Charles Peter Henry Morgan and Kathryn Jane L. Pitt, whose marriage was registered in January 1991.
Charles is the son of the late Peter Henry Morgan, whose father Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan founded the Morgan Motor Company. Charles served as CEO of Morgan Motor until 2013. The firm is no longer family-run. In 2019, Charles and other family members sold their shares to InvestIndustriel.
Before joining the family business, Morgan worked as a ITV cameraman for ten years.
Lord Hugh is a graduate of Harrow. He received a Master of Arts in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support from the University of Edinburgh. He spent a year as part of an exchange program with the University of Texas at Austin.
He also did a Mandarin Language program at Tsinghua University. Lord Hugh is the co-founder of review.legal.

Today's Times also announced a QVD birth. Elizabeth Liddell-Grainger (nee Wilks) gave birth to a daughter, Clara Anne Isabella, on July 24, 2024. This is the second child for Elizabeth and her husband, Peter Liddell-Grainger. They have a son, Alfred, born in 2022.

Soon all three sons will be married and hopefully a couple of heirs will be born in the next three years. I really wouldn't want the ducal title to become extinct
