Bourbon bonbons: new to my collection.

In May 1897, Princess Maria of Bavaria married Ferdinando of Bourbon-Two-Sicilies, the Duke of Calabria. They had six children.  Their only son, Prince Ruggiero was only 13 years old when he died in December 1914.  The Duke of Calabria died in 1960 and was succeeded by his nephew Alfonso.  This card shows the Duke and Duchess of Calabria with their four eldest daughters: Maria Antonietta (1898-1957)  Maria Cristina (1899-1985),  Barbara (1902-1927), and Lucie (1908-2001).

HRH Prince Henri Count of Paris escorts HSH Countess Marie-Immaculée of Limburg-Stirum on January 17, 1957, at the wedding of their children, Princess Helene and Count Evrard of  Limburg-Stirum.  The Countess was born a Princess of Croy.

The baptism of HRH Prince Pedro of Bourbon-Two-Sicilies, Duke of Noto (now the Duke of Calabria.) He was born on October16, 1968 in Madrid.  The little prince is being held by his mother, HRH Princess Anne (nee Orléans), Duchess of Calabria.  The two little girls in front are Princesses Cristina (1966) and Maria(1968), Jaime's older sisters.  In the back row:  Prince Elias of Bourbon-Two Sicilies,  the Countess of Paris and Princess Alice, Dowager Duchess of Calabria

Last week eBay sent me a coupon for $25.00 to thank me for being one of the original members of the auction site. A nice surprise.  I had to spend at least $25.01 to use the coupon. Easy peasy.

These postcards are the result of eBay's pressie!
