Two rather nice Noble engagements.

Earlier today, I received news of two noble engagements that were announced within the families earlier this week.

The first engagement is between HSH The Prince of Castell-Rüdenhausen and Miss Sophia Mautner von Markhof and the second couple is HSH Prince Peter Lobkowicz and Countess Helena von  Khevenhüeller-Metsch.

Prince Otto Friedrich Carl is the 6th Prince of Castell-Rüdenhausen.  He was born at Würzburg on May 31. 1985 as the eldest of four children of the late Johann-Friedrich, 5th Prince of Castell-Rüdenhausen, and Countess Maria of Schönborn-Wiesentheid.  Otto succeeded as Prince when his father died on October 30, 2014.

Otto is head of the family businesses including the private Castell bank and forestry and land.  He is a first cousin of HRH Prince Georg Friedrich of Prussia as his father and Georg Friedrich's mother, Donata, were siblings.

Sophia Maria Antonia Margaritha Mautner von Markhof is a footwear designer and is the founder of VIER, a Munich based company.  She studied in Spain, Italy, and England.  In 2015, she received a BA in Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design and Development from the London College of Fashion.  She also has a master's degree from IED Madrid, Dirección y Gestión de Producto de Moda in product management.
