Ted and I took a bus to Stockholm (about an hour ride) to see Gamla Stan and the Royal Palace. Gamla Stan is is the largest preserved medieval city center in all of Europe.
Let me say here - gorgeous weather every day for the entire trip. Jersey barriers outside the Palace, but no bag checks or metal detectors. Cameras allowed, no flash.
