Day 3 Tullgarn, Gripsholm and Drottningholm

It was a little overcast when the day started.  Ted and I drove to Tullgarn Castle, which we believed opened at 10:00.  Ooops.  11:00 .  I can say I saw Tullgarn.  Not the inside though.   From there, it was about a 45 minute drive to Griphsolm Castle in Mariefred.   Gripsholm houses Sweden's National Portrait Gallery.   We had lunch at a local cafe, and then the car ferry to get us to Drottningholm.

Let me in

2 of the rooms featured portraits of the other reigning monarchs during the age of several Swedish kings.  George III was a contemporary of Gustav III.
