It was a little overcast when the day started. Ted and I drove to Tullgarn Castle, which we believed opened at 10:00. Ooops. 11:00 . I can say I saw Tullgarn. Not the inside though. From there, it was about a 45 minute drive to Griphsolm Castle in Mariefred. Gripsholm houses Sweden's National Portrait Gallery. We had lunch at a local cafe, and then the car ferry to get us to Drottningholm.

I am really surprised at how many portraits they have of foreign monarchs.
