King Edward VIII will visit Canada "soon after his Coronation next May," reports the Associated Press. The announcement was made aboard the SS Empress of Britain by Canadian Prime Minister Mackenzie King, who is returning home after a visit to European.
The Prime Minister "disclosed the intention" of the "42 year old bachelor monarch" to visit his North American dominion" when reporters boarded the Empress of Britain at Father Point, Quebec.
