This really isn't a surprise given the fragility of his constitution given his illness and age, though it is still very unfortunate. Are Nicholas and Elisabeta the only grandchildren attending, or are others not listed because they're not considered a part of the Royal House?
ReplyDeleteNicholas is not a part of the royal house. The American grandchildren have chosen not to go. Don;t know why Karina is not attending. She remains in succession/
ReplyDeleteThe announcement from the Royal House said Michael would be with friends and family, so perhaps some of his grandchildren might be with him in Switzerland?
ReplyDeleteThe only unaccounted grandchild is Karina. Irina's two children are not going to Europe.
ReplyDeleteSo sad he can't attend!
