Official funding for Romanian royal house: proposal
The Royal House's headquarters will be the Elisabetha Palace, which will be used "free of charge for 99 years."
The Royal House's "operational costs" will be covered by the State Budget. The head of the Royal House "will be paid as a former head of state."
The Romanian Royal House has "endorsed" the plan.

This is very interesting. For the duties the King and Crown Princess have performed…how have they been funded previous to this new proposal?
ReplyDeleteso, are they going to be based as a Historical or a Political entity ? Because at the end of the day, a Pretender to the throne, wants one thing, returning the monarchy.
ReplyDeleteIt is a proposal. They have been allowed to use Elisabetha Palace. According to proposal, the head of house would be treated as a former head of state
ReplyDeleteI believe as a result of this monarchy will return to Romania, hopefully Nicholas will be reinstated to his previous positions.
ReplyDeleteThe monarchy will not be restored at all. Moreover, at this time, Nicholas is not close to his family, not even his mother
ReplyDeleteAre the grooming someone to take over after Margarita?
ReplyDeleteone wonders about that Max.
ReplyDeleteSo if this were to be approved, would it basically be like having a monarchy, except there would be no role politically or in terms of duties of a head of state at all? They would live in a palace and do work on behalf of the country, and presumably attend public events as royals do?
ReplyDeletesort of. Elisabetha Palace isn't a palace but a nice size home
