February 1, 1936
According to an Associated Press report, Spanish royalist believe that former King Alfonso XIII and his estranged wife, Queen Victoria Eugenia will "soon be reunited" because of the impending birth of a grandchild.
For some time now, Queen Ena has refused to see her husband but now has "consented to talk with him" when she goes to Rome to be with their daughter, Infanta Beatriz, who is expecting her first child.
Infanta Beatriz married Don Alessandro Torlonia, Prince of Civitella-Cesi in January 1935.
