His Serene Highness Maria Georg Konstantin Ignatius Antonius Felix Wunibald Kilian Boniacius, Prince of Waldburg zu Zeil und Trauchburg died earlier today at his home at Schloss Zeil. He was 87 years old.
The Prince of Waldburg zu Zeil was the eldest son of HSH Maria Ernst August Wunibald Anton Joseph Reinhard of Waldburg zu Zeil and HSH Princess Monika of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. He succeeded his father in 1953.
In 1957, Georg married HRH Princess Maria Gabrielle of Bavaria, eldest daughter of Prince Albrecht, Duke of Bavaria. Their civil wedding took place at Reichenhofen on August 31, and the religious wedding was celebrated at Nympenburg on October 23. More than 150 members of European nobility and royalty attended the Roman Catholic wedding.
The Prince of Waldburg zu Zeil is survived by his wife, Marie Gabrielle, and six children, including his only son, Hereditary Graf Maria Erich Wunibald Aloysius Georg, who is married to Duchess Mathilde of Württemberg. Erich and his wife are the parents of five daughters. The heir presumptive is Erich's first cousin, Count Clemens, 55, who is married to Princess Georgine of Liechtenstein. They are the parents of five children, three daughters and two sons.

The news service has provided an incorrect caption for the picture of the new Furst, Erich. The caption shows up when you scroll over the top of the photo, and it says that the photo is of Furst Erich and his wife, Furstin Mathilde, daughter of the Duke of Wurttemberg. That is not his wife, Mathilde, in the photo, but rather his sister-in-law, Marie, wife of Duke Friedrich of Wurttemberg.
