It will be a small wedding, "perhaps in November," for Princess Margaret and Peter Townsend, reports the Chicago Tribune.

The wedding will be a "family affair," but not a state occasion," and will probably take place, privately, at one of the royal family's residences.

The real question will be Margaret's "royal place."  When she marries, her allowance will increase to $45,000 a year  She also has a private fortune.  Townsend earns $8,000 as the air attache at the British embassy in Brussels.

Princess Margaret's "official life," may end if she marries the Group Captain.   This may be difficult for the princess as she revels in the "pomp and the idea of being royal."
