It's a Princess

HRH Princess Sophie of Prussia gave birth to a daughter, Emma Marie, in Bremen earlier today (April 2).  This is the third child for Sophie and her husband, Prince Georg Friedrich, the head of the Prussian Royal House (and de jure Kaiser.)


Prince Georg Friedrich, the only son of the late Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia and Countess Donata zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, married Princess Sophie of Isenburg at Potsdam in August, 2011.

They have twin sons Hereditary Prince Carl Friedrich and Prince Louis Ferdinand, born on January 20, 2013.


In 1994, Prince Georg Friedrich succeeded his grandfather, Prince Louis Ferdinand.
