The Prince of Hohenzollern will marry Princess Adelgunde of Bavaria on January 10 at the royal palace in Munich, reports the New York Times.   Their engagement was announced on July 22, 1914

The wedding "will be celebrated in all possible simplicity, in tune with the gravity of the hour."

Prince Wilhelm, 50 is serving with the Bavarian army.  His first wife, Princess Maria Theresa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies died in 1909.  He is the eldest son of Prince Leopold of Hohenzollern and Infanta Antonia of Portugal and is the older brother of King Ferdinand of Roumania.

He has three children by his first marriage: Princess Augusta Viktoria, who is married to the exiled King Manoel of Portugal, Prince Friedrich, and Prince Franz Josef.
