Princess Elisabeth buried

Princess Elisabeth, the young daughter of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hesse and by Rhine, was buried this afternoon in Darmstadt, reports the New York Times. Among those who followed the coffin from the railroad station to the mausoleum was Prince Eitel Friedrich of Prussia, representing Kaiser Wilhelm II, Count Gleichen, representing King Edward VII, Prince and Princess Henry of Prussia.
Princess Elisabeth's mother, the former Grand Duchess Victoria Melita, was unable to be present at the funeral, "on account of illness.
The princess died in Poland on November 16 She was eight years old.
