100 Years ago today - the wedding of Prince Arthur of Connaught and the Duchess of Fife

On October 15, 1913, HRH Prince Arthur of Connaught, only son of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Connaught, and HH The Duchess of Fife, elder daughter of HRH The Princess Royal and the late Duke of Fife, were married at the Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace.

It was the last British royal wedding before the outbreak of World War I in August 1914.
