A boy for Princess Carl of Denmark

Princess Carl of Denmark, daughter of King Edward VII, has given birth to a son at Appleton Cottage at Sandringham, reports the New York Times.

Mother and infant prince are "doing well."  The former Princess Maud of Wales married her first cousin, Prince Carl of Denmark on July 22, 1896.

This is the couple's first child.
