One of the misnomers

Oh dear, some people never get it right.

Marie Juliette Louvet (May 9, 1867-September 24, 1930), the mother of Louis II of Monaco's legitimated daughter, Charlotte, was NOT a laundress. She was a cabaret singer and entertainer.  Her mother was Prince Louis' washerwoman in Algeria, where Juliette, gave birth to Charlotte, in Constantine, Algeria, in 1898.

Juliette had two children, Georges and Marguerite, by her husband, Achille Delmaet.
